A huge group of 30 people (27 of them were Ampang Chinese Methodist Church members) travelled approximately 2 ½ hours from Kuala Lumpur to Orang Asli settlements in Temerloh, ready to serve in whatever ways they can. As I spoke to the participants about missions and encouraged them to go, I was reminded to walk the talk because I never really go for any mission trip before.” Tiah Wen Lin Bro Edwin was invited to speak at River of Christ Church and encourage the church to be one that sends and goes for missions. At the end of the service, there was a session with a group of young people which would go to Kajang for a short term mission trip. Kevin introducing ICM to a participant Small group discussion The Plan11 is a mission conference organized by Malaysian Centre for Global Missions (MCGM) to motivate and inspire youths towards world evangelism. This time it was held at Selesa Beach Resort, Port Dickson from 31 st August to 3 rd September 2011. ICM took part in the Plan11 by setting up booth as mean to provide information and network with the participants in missions. Among other organizations with booths were Strategic Missions Partnerships (STAMP), Interserve, Worldwide Evangelisation for Christ (WEC), Malaysian Care, OMF International, Youth With A Mission (YWAM), Operation Mobilisation (OM), Crisis Relief Services & Training (CREST), and OpenDoors. Bro Edwin and Sis Felicia shared their experience on the mission field as an encouragement to the youths The “Circle of Influence” at the entrance of the main hall was a section where participants put names or places which they committed to reach out to. Participants exploring the tent with necessary things for a short term mission trip. “Being a part of the Plan11 was an eye-opening experience for me. A session with Hannah Yeoh made me realized that politics is one of the many areas which God works through despite being thought as a place to keep out from because of its ption, manipulation, fear and greed.” Kevin Ngui
