The Ministry
Our Vision: To participate in the Great Commission by partnering with local churches and mission

Our Mission: We are committed to partnering with churches and Christian organisations in end-time harvest
evangelism and discipleship by providing ICM Bible School In A Briefcase (BSIB) materials, training
seminars and hands-on mission field experiences through short-term missions. (Matt 28:19)
Dear Pastors/Prayer & Mission Partners/Friends,
We thank you for all your prayers and support rendered towards the ministry. Your prayers and support has
contributed much to all that have been carried out for the glory of God. We covet your continuous prayer
support for ICM.
Five years ago, a Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA) was concluded between International
Christian Mission (ICM) and Police Regional
Office 1 (PRO1), and between ICM and Police
Regional Training School 1 (RTS1).
Since 2007, ICM has been conducting a four-day
seminar in every Police Provincial Office in
Region 1 and at RTS1. Graduation is held on the
last day of every seminar. There are at least eight
Moral Recovery Programmes (MRP) done
annually in all the Police Provincial Offices and
RTS1.
At present there are over 2,000 men/women in
uniform who have heard the Gospel of our Lord
Jesus Christ, and many of them received Christ
personally as Lord and Savior. Some of them are
now attending Evangelical, Pentecostal and Born
Again churches.
For three consecutive years (2008-2010) PRO1
received awards as the best Police Regional Office
all over the Philippines. All the previous Police
Regional Directors recognized that the MRP
spearheaded by ICM contributed to their success.

This was the first time that ICM had the privilege go
to Kampung Pecah Batu, Slim River, situated about
20 minutes from Tanjung Malim town. It was a timely
visit as the pastors ministering the area are already
started using ICM materials but needed help in how
to organize the BSIB teachings.
With much enthusiasm, Ps Stewart and wife
transported youths and children especially, from
nearby villages, namely Kg Gentung, Kg Gentai, Kg Sg
Tras, Kg Sg Jang and Kg Kerling, to Kg Pecah Batu to
attend the BSIB seminar led by Ps Peter. Many
questions were asked, discussed and clarified.
There are still many needs among the villagers, such
as the lack of Christian literature in Bahasa, training
and discipleship as well as the upgrading of the
various facilities in the villages.

(Malaysian & Indonesian) Malindo Church,
Langkawi. The police trainees who are
mostly from East Malaysia, just finished
their training at the Police Academy in
Pulau Langkawi.

Upon reaching Trisu 4 village, a medical camp
was set up under the supervision of Sis Lana
who works with Crisis Relief Services &
Training (CREST). Many villagers with fever, flu,
cough, stomachache, diarrhea, skin diseases etc
turned up during the medical camp.

Instead of the ministry team going to the
Orang Asli villages, this time it’s an
opportunity for Orang Asli to go out from
their villages for ministry. A group of Orang
Asli from Gopeng led by their pastor, Ps Jack
Owal, was invited to go with Ps Melai as
praise and worship team to Sarawak to
minister the locals there.

A. Upcoming Bible School In A Briefcase (BSIB) & Short Term Mission (STM) Trips
1. [16-17 July 2011] Mantin, Negeri Sembilan, West Malaysia (STM - OA)
a. Praise God for raising up a team to go to villages in Mantin for Men Ministry, Women Ministry and Youth
Ministry.
2. [25-29 July 2011] Sabah, East Malaysia

a. Pray for Ps Melai and Bro Dorai as they go to meet the church planters in Sabah who are sponsored
under ICM as a follow-up of their ministry as well as giving encouragement. There are many challenges
and struggles faced by our partners on the field such as financial support for families and travelling cost,
lack of manpower in doing training and follow-up etc.
b. Do uphold our partners in prayers as they continue to sow in building the Church of God.
3. [4-7 August 2011] Simpang Pulai, Perak, West Malaysia (Medical Mission - OA)

A team from Malaysian Fellowship Humanitarian Missions, consisting of medical students who are studying
in Russia, is coming for this trip. MF Humanitarian Missions is a non-profit organization that brings together
Malaysian medical students and doctors to various poverty-stricken areas all across Asia.

a. There are non-Christians among the students. Pray that God’s grace and love will be transpired to them
throughout this trip.
b. Pray that the medical camp and BSIB teaching sessions will go well.
4. [25-29 August 2011] Nepal (BSIB Graduation)
a. Pray for journey mercy as Bro Edwin and Bro Dorai will be attending the first BSIB graduation in Nepal
on 28 th August. Pray for them as they meet the people there to share about the work of ICM and to
expand the local networking in Nepal.
5. [25 August - 4 September 2011] Sarawak, East Malaysia (BSIB)
a. Pray for Ps Melai as he travels to Bintulu (26 th – 28 th Aug), Balingian (28 th – 29 th Aug) and Lachau/Sri
Aman (30 th Aug – 4 th Sept) for BSIB teaching sessions.
b. Pray for more team members to join in this trip.
B. Others
1. [1-4 August 2011] ICM Strategic Consultation 2011 (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia)
This is a meeting where ICM Inc Board Directors, National Directors and representatives of different
countries come together to evaluate the work of ICM in their respective countries, so that a more effective
strategy can be planned for the next few years.
a. Pray for journey mercy as the team travel from different places to Kota Kinabalu.
b. Pray for refreshed and focused vision to be imparted to the team as well as a spirit of unity in fulfilling
God’s purposes for ICM.
2. SARAWAK, East Malaysia
Praise God that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between SIB Sarawak and ICM recently.
A training centre will be set up in Miri to train local pastors, evangelists, church planters and lay leaders
using ICM BSIB materials.
a. Pray for wisdom in the planning (setting up a committee of trainers etc).
b. Pray that God will provide for the needs financially and materially (for renovation, training and learning
aids such as computers, sponsorship for the trainees as they will be sent out to villages and towns after
they finished their training).
