A huge group of 30 people (27 of them
were Ampang Chinese Methodist
Church members) travelled
approximately 2 ½ hours from Kuala
Lumpur to Orang Asli settlements in
Temerloh, ready to serve in whatever
ways they can. But many returned
feeling much blessed by the locals than
they had expected.
Sharing testimony
“God really bless Kampung Pian greatly. The people can
sing without referring to the lyrics, even the children! I
have not spoken Bahasa for almost 30 years but when I
shared testimony, to my amazement I was able to speak
well, praise the Lord! ” Mary Chong Le Lee
we can find banana trees in villages
After reaching Kg Terbol, we had a short briefing and discussion for each group.
The women stayed back at the village for Women’s Fellowship and a cooking
session. The rest went to have a friendly football match with the Orang Asli.
villages in prayer as
they face problem of
conversion as well as
issues.
“I thought I was going to teach and bless them but I
personally was so touched. Seeing their love for the Lord
made me reflected on my relationship with God. ”
Kevin and Carol sharing about ICM
and short term mission trips to
participants
“Participating in the Plan11 and helping out at ICM booth
made me think of my role in the missions. As I spoke to the
participants about missions and encouraged them to go, I
was reminded to walk the talk because I never really go
for any mission trip before.” Tiah Wen Lin
Bro Edwin was invited to speak at
River of Christ Church and encourage
the church to be one that sends and
goes for missions. At the end of the
service, there was a session with a
group of young people which would
go to Kajang for a short term mission
trip.
The Plan11 is a mission conference organized by
Malaysian Centre for Global Missions (MCGM) to
motivate and inspire youths towards world evangelism.
This time it was held at Selesa Beach Resort, Port
Dickson from 31 st August to 3 rd September 2011.
ICM took part in the Plan11 by setting up booth as mean
to provide information and network with the
participants in missions. Among other organizations
with booths were Strategic Missions Partnerships
(STAMP), Interserve, Worldwide Evangelisation for Christ
(WEC), Malaysian Care, OMF International, Youth With A
Mission (YWAM), Operation Mobilisation (OM), Crisis
Relief Services & Training (CREST), and OpenDoors.
Bro Edwin and Sis Felicia shared
their experience on the mission field
as an encouragement to the youths
The “Circle of
Influence” at
the entrance of
the main hall
reach out to.
“Being a part of the Plan11 was an eye-opening
experience for me. A session with Hannah Yeoh made
me realized that politics is one of the many areas which
God works through despite being thought as a place to
keep out from because of its ption,
manipulation, fear and greed.” Kevin Ngui

training centres were blooming all over Sumatra and there are more than 100 churches been planted. ICM
BSIB graduates in Sumatra are sent out to share the Gospel everywhere and many of them are now
pastors/leaders in many churches.
a. Pray for the graduates as they are being commissioned to go to different places for ministry, that they
will experience God in a deeper way.
Others
1. Nepal
From 4 th to 26 th November 2011, Ps Haron Adrian and his team will be training 20 students in a village at
CHEPANG, Nepal. They have a difficult journey on the mountain of Nepal and they have to walk about nine
hours to reach the village. As they walk, they also have to carry ICM teaching materials and food for the
camp.
Please pray for their journey mercies and for the ICM BSIB training in the mountain region. The locals are
being trained to be the future pastors and Gospel workers in the mountains. Please uphold them in prayer
as they are being equipped and sent back home to bring the message of Jesus to the lost.
* The Chepang people are an ethnic group living southwest of Kathmandu. They are largely animists, although
influenced by Hinduism and Buddhism. For over 1,000 years they have lived in very poor conditions, being
originally nomadic but now living in villages and raising livestock and planting crops.
2. Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo)
We need prayers for our missionary couple, Mutoro and Lucy Mokango, who are working among the
pygmies. Mutoro is suffering from malaria, typhoid and hernia. His wife is also expecting. Pray that God will
heal Mutoro and His mighty hands protecting this faithful couple. Pray also for their financial support.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for your prayers and support for ICM and its
mission. To God be the glory and be blessed.
