f) Operational Performance
Discussions with W & WW Supervisors is required for clarity of
where all maintenance programs are documented
All maintenance programs have been performed as per
maintenance sheets, work orders and daily logs
Any identified deficiencies or areas needing attention have been
recorded and included as a capital project repair/replacement or
scheduled for routine maintenance or included under annual
operational budget for repair/
g) Raw water supply and drinking water quality trends
Results are provided from Accredited Operating Authority (Veolia
Water) on a routine basis. County reviews and provides feedback
as needed.
County has monthly data/operations review meetings with
operating authority and reiterated the importance of collecting,
monitoring and reporting all raw water results
County has requested sampling outside of regulatory requirements
be conducted on raw water for Crypto/Giardia to improve
characterization of raw water for log removal for disinfection
practices (also a Continual Improvement)
A Memorandum of Understanding exists between Haldimand
County and City of Hamilton that identifies both municipalities level
of responsibility for water supply, treatment, monitoring and
maintenance. This document is reviewed, at a minimum, annually
with changes noted and final sign off by Senior Management from
both Municipalities.

Regulatory process changes for disinfection practices for Caledonia
/ Cayuga distribution system
Changes to infrastructure as a result of expansions or studies may

The Existing DWQMS Capital Account will be closed effective
December 31, 2012
An Annual Operating Expense has been identified going forward to
