Our tents were protected inside a tamarisk<br />
forest. You just had to watch your head as you<br />
came out of the tents because of low laying<br />
branches.<br />
Saturday was warmer and a<br />
perfect day for bike riding.<br />
Quite a few of us biked from<br />
Furnace Creek to Stovepipe<br />
Wells and back, just about 50<br />
miles and almost no hills.<br />

forever, and not much<br />
elevation change. The<br />
ride was almost all<br />
below sea level!<br />
