Personal Profile<br />

Prof. Dr. Deniz Saral is a Professor of Decision Sciences and Management<br />

PhD in Business Administration (1975), The University of Texas at Austin, BETA<br />

GAMMA SIGMA; MBA (1969), The University of Pittsburgh (USA); BA in Accounting<br />

and Finance (1968), Robert College-Istanbul.<br />

Dr. Saral was an assistant professor at The University of North Carolina at<br />

Greensboro (1971-77); Associate Professor of Industrial Management, Chairman of<br />

Undergraduate Programs, College of Industrial Management, The University of<br />

Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (1977-84); Professor and<br />

Department Chair of Business and Management Programs, Walker School of<br />

Business and Technology, <strong>We</strong>bster University in Geneva (1992-2012); Co-Director<br />

of the <strong>We</strong>bster-Grenoble Ecole de Management DBA Cohort Program in<br />

Switzerland (2007-2013); former Chairman and CEO of two private corporations in<br />

Switzerland. Dr. Saral is currently the Chairman of the Board of Advisors to<br />

Kavrakoglu Management Institute of Istanbul-Turkey; is an active member in the<br />

Turkish Ethics and Reputation Society; was a speaker in the Ethics Summit 2013 in<br />

Istanbul and was the former President of the Swiss Anti-Fraud Association. Dr.<br />

Saral is an avid supporter and follower of new and hybrid learning systems blending<br />

digital media and traditional forms and is currently an advisor to two Turkish<br />

universities in this domain.
