DeVry is especially proud of its record of
civic engagement. DeVry University’s students,
alumni and employees actively partner with
business and community organizations. In
New Jersey, DeVry has been recognized
by the New Jersey Technology Council for
excellence in technology education. The
University was also honored by the Central
Jersey Community Development Corporation
for excellence in community service. Most
recently, DeVry University became a founding
member of New Jersey Campus Compact.
Campus Compact promotes public and
community service that develops students’
citizenship skills, helps campuses forge
effective community partnerships, and
provides resources and training for faculty
seeking to integrate civic and communitybased
learning into the curriculum. Finally,
DeVry University hosts an annual Her
World event, an interactive workshop that
empowers high school women to pursue
careers in science, technology, engineering
and mathematics.
