2 0 1 1 I N D I A N A P O L I S C O L T S KEVIN KELLY Area Scout Kevin Kelly enters his third season as an area scout with the Colts. He previously was an area scout with the Cleveland Browns (2001-08). Kelly was the head coach at St. Viator (Ill.) High School from 1996-00. He also coached at Case Western University (defensive coordinator, 1995), John Carroll University (linebackers, 1994), Lake Forest College (defensive line, 1993) and Indiana University (defensive graduate assistant, 1989-92). Kelly played at Indiana (1984-87), where he captaineed the 1987 Peach Bowl team. He also played at the University of Miami (FL) and was a member of the 1983 National Championship team. Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in sports marketing and management from Indiana University. Kelly and his wife, Allison, reside in Avon with their two sons, Ryan (16) and Payton (11), and one daughter, Abigail (8). ANDREW BERRY Pro Scout Andrew Berry is in his third season with the club, his first as pro scout. He spent his first two years with the club as a scouting assistant.Berry was a four-year starter, three-time First-Team All-Ivy League and two-time All-American cornerback at Harvard University. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in computer science in four years. Berry was born March 30, 1987 in Willingboro, N.J. He resides with his wife, Brittan, in Mountain View, Calif. JONATHAN SHAW Scouting Assistant Jonathan Shaw is in his sixth season with the Colts, his fifth as Colts scouting assistant. Shaw joined the scouting department in May 2007 after completing a seasonal internship in the football operations department in 2006. Shaw was a fouryear starter at defenisive back at St. Lawrence University, and also lettered in lacrosse. He graduated with a major in biology and a minor in sport studies. Shaw was born December 26, 1983 in Buffalo, N.Y. He is single and resides in Carmel. GLENN COOK Scouting Assistant Glenn Cook is in his first season with the Colts as scouting assistant. Cook was a four-year letterman at the University of Miami playing at linebacker and on special teams. He captained the 2008 team and led the team with 76 tackles. He was also a defensive graduate assistant with the program. Cook graduated with a degree in marketing and business administration and holds a master's degree in sports administration. Cook was born December 13, 1984 in Miami, Fla. He resides in Indianapolis. ANTHONY FOYT IV Scouting Assistant Anthony Foyt IV is in his second season with the Colts as scouting assistant. Foyt made the transition from the Indy Racing League, which he joined in 2003. He appeared in six Indianapolis 500 races. Foyt was born May 25, 1984 and raised in Hockley, Texas. He is married to Casey Irsay Foyt, and they reside in Indianapolis with their son, Anthony Joseph Foyt, V. 34
2 0 1 1 I N D I A N A P O L I S C O L T S DAVE HAMMER Head Athletic Trainer Dave Hammer is in his 28th season with the Colts, his third as head athletic trainer. Hammer spent the 2006-08 seasons as associate head athletic trainer/team services. Hammer previously served 22 seasons as assistant athletic trainer, having joined the club in July of 1984. He served on the NATA Honors and Awards Sub- Committee from 1994-05. He served on the PFATS Executive Board from 1997-02. Hammer was a member of the undergraduate athletic training curriculum at West Virginia from 1977-82. He was a graduate assistant at Syracuse from 1982-84 while earning a master’s degree. Hammer spent the 1981 training camp as a member of the Colts' summer staff, along with serving with the club during parts of the 1981-83 seasons. The Colts’ training staff was honored in 1990 as the Pro Football Athletic Training Staff of the Year by the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on May 10, 1959, Dave and his wife, Sharon, reside with their children, Christopher (22) and Ashlee, (19) in Brownsburg. ERIN BARILL Director of Rehabilitation Erin Barill is in his ninth season with the Colts, his sixth as Director of Rehabilitation. He previously served as physical therapist for the Colts from 2003-05. He earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education and athletic training from West Virginia in 1992, and earned another bachelor’s degree from WVU's School of Physical Therapy. Prior to working with the Colts, Barill worked 11 years as a physical therapist and athletic trainer at Methodist Sports Medicine Center, where he had both clinical and high school responsibilities. He was born December 8, 1969 in Morgantown, W.Va. Barill and his wife, Shay, reside with their children, Rayne (4) and Journey (2), in Brownsburg. DAVE WALSTON Assistant Athletic Trainer Dave Walston is in his 19th season with the Colts, his 15th as a full-time assistant athletic trainer. Walston earned a master's degree from West Virginia University and a bachelor's degree from Salisbury State College. He previously served as head athletic trainer at Bowie State University (1988-90) in Bowie, Md., and at Morningside College (1990-92) in Sioux City, Iowa. He was born January 14, 1964 in Denton, Md. Walston resides with his wife, Steffani, and sons Brayden (13) and Brooks (2), in Brownsburg. KYLE DAVIS Assistant Athletic Trainer Kyle Davis is in his third year with the Colts, his first as a full-time assistant athletic trainer. Davis previously served as as a seasonal intern during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. He earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from East Central University in 2006 and a master’s degree in education from ECU in 2008. Davis was born on December 12, 1983 in Pauls Valley, Okla. Davis and his wife, Betty, reside in Indianapolis. 35
