the screw head and sloping base of elongated screw hole, creates
relative movement between bone and plate in the direction of the
fracture site, so compression can also achieved using the tension
device.
Cloverleaf Plate 3.5 mm
Kleeblattplatte 3.5 mm
Plaque en trèfle 3.5 mm
Indication : The cloverleaf plate is a buttress
plate designed to sit on the medial aspect of the distal
tibia. It is thin and can be easily cut. The plate has a frontal
wing which allows fixation to the medial malleous. The plate can
also be modified by having this frontal wing cut of which allows it use
on the anterior plane of distal tibia. It should be bend pre-operatively
to accurately match the contours of the segment of the bone to be
fixed. And oval hole allows for temporary fixation of the plate prior to
final adjustment and fixation.
Dorso - lumbar Wirbelsäulenplatte 4.5 mm
Plaque pour dorso-lombaires 4.5 mm
Indication : The desing of the posterior plates comes from spine
anatomy. The average distance between two adjacent pedicles is 26
mm. The plates are created with holes every 13 mm. It is therefore
possible to fix two adjacent vertebrae with a pedicular screw every
two holes. The plates are curved similar to the normal spine at
thoracolumbar juction, which is the most common site of fracture.
The holes are reinforced by an embossment giving to the plates and
homogeneous resistance. They are produced from stainless steel.
These plates can be bend if necessary. Different lenghts, ranging
from 49 mm to 218 mm with 4 to 17 holes have been designed.
Distale Tibia Platte 4.5 mm
Plaque pour tibia distal 4.5 mm
Indication : Anatomical distal tibia bone plates are designed to be
used for reducing fractures of the distal tibia. It is designed to sit on
the distal aspect of the tibia The anatomical bone plate features show
the following important factors to osteosynthesis as; permit a stable
fixation of the small proximal and distal fragments. They consider the
various physiological stability factors of distal spongiosa and metato
diaphyseal fractures. They are curved and twisted to conform to
the nature shape of the proximal and distal bones areas. They simplify
reduction in case of extended fractures as their anterior surface is
contoured to minimize tissue irritation.
Plate details : To conform to the ventro-tibial contours of the
distal tibia, the plate is twisted and curved an has a concav surface
on its bone side and broadened distal end. The pre-form shape of
the plate requires that a separate plate to be used for right and left
tibia.
Plate thickness : 3.0 mm
Plate width : 17.0 mm
Head width : 24.5 mm
