The first adventure in the popular Siam Storm Series. When a small golden box containing dental remains of the Buddha is stolen and its guardian monks murdered; it is the surviving combatant monk, Pon's, duty to recover the holy item and avenge his brother monks. Pon leaves his secluded monastery in the Cardamom jungle to search of the man responsible. He enters Cambodia, where he finds the employer of, Dam, the man who committed the crime, but Dam has already fled, taking the box. Spock, Stu, and Nick are three lovable English rogues who are enjoying a holiday experience of a lifetime in Pattaya, in southeast Thailand. While enjoying a raucous night out, they accidentally stumble across the holy box and, unaware of its sacred contents, replace them with Nicks knocked out dentures. Pon, after pursuing Dam to Pattaya, runs into Spock, Stu, and Nick. Calamity follows and they all get swept up into a new kind of adventure. The fun has just begun...

Tinju performed their ceremony, praying for Buddha's protection on the<br />

The Prime Master stood in front of the large golden statue of a smiling<br />

Buddha. The statue, approximately 20 feet tall, was of the Buddha<br />

sitting in the lotus position, with the matchbox sized golden box in its<br />

open hands.<br />

Somchay had been Prime Master of the Tinju for four years, and<br />

although 58 years old, had the strength of a lion and the speed of a<br />

striking snake. His mentor, the former Prime Master Vitchae, after<br />

losing his sight had handed over the honour to him, as he was unable to<br />

perform his duties.<br />

Somchay, with his head bowed and hands together in the 'Wai' position,<br />

chanted mantras for enlightenment, wisdom, and courage, which<br />

continued for several minutes. He then fell silent.<br />

Two hooded monks stood either side of the statue and lit more of the<br />

scented essence sticks positioned around the statue in small sand traps.<br />

This took several minutes, and as small wisps of smoke started<br />

emanating from the sticks, the air started to fill with a fragrant aroma.<br />

After all 30 sticks were lit; Somchay took the small box from the<br />

statue’s hands and turned to face the prone monks. He held the box high<br />

above his head. He uttered a command in an ancient Siamese dialect<br />

and the monks shouted their praise to Lord Buddha.<br />

Somchay then continued chanting Mantras, until the horrific event<br />

unfolded.<br />

The assailant put the holy relic in his tunic pocket. He squinted through<br />

the smoke at the blurred orange-clad figures of the monks, now either
