Leganbeck of the county of Holmes and State of Ohio an Attorney for us and in our name place and State to collect,<br />

receive, Sell convey let and take charge of all our interest and estate legal and equitable in the Estate of Christian<br />

Welte late of Said Holmes County deceased giving and granting unto my said Attorney full power and Authority to do<br />

and perform all and any act and thing whatsoever necessary to be done in and about the premises, as full to all intents<br />

and purposes as we might or could do if personally present with full power of substitution and revocation hereby<br />

ratifying and confirming all that our Said Attorney or his substitute shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue<br />

there of.<br />

In testimony whereof we the Said John Legenbeck and Elizabeth Legenbeck have herein to set our hands and Seals<br />

this 5 day of July A D 1858.<br />

On the 5? day of July AD 1858 before me William Ridenbaugh Clerk of the Buchanan circuit in and for Said County<br />

and State came John Legenbeak and Anna Elizabeth Legenbeck his wife who are known to me to be the persons<br />

whose names are subscribed to the above and forgoing Power of Attorney as parties thereto and acknowledge the<br />

Same to be their act and deed for the uses & purposes therein mentioned. And She the Said Anna Elizabeth Legenbek<br />

being by me made acquainted with the contents of Said Power of Attorney Acknowledged the Same to be her free act<br />

and deed without any undue influence of her husband.<br />

Know all Men by these presents that we Peter <strong>Luginbuhl</strong> and Mary <strong>Luginbuhl</strong> his wife of the county of Holmes and<br />

State of Ohio in consideration of the Sum of Fifty five dollars in hand paid by Christian Strahm of the County of<br />

Holmes and State of Ohio have bargained and Sold and do hereby grant bargain Sell and convey unto the Said<br />

Christian Strahm his heirs and assigns forever the following premises Situated in the County of Holmes and the State<br />

of Ohio and bounded and described as follows. It being a part of Lot No thirty three in the third quarter in township<br />

ten and range four commencing eighty one perches and six links east of the South west corner of Said lot No 33 on the<br />

line. Thence north twenty nine degrees west eighteen perches to the beginning place thence North twenty nine degrees<br />

west twenty four perches and sixteen links thence north fifty four and one half degrees east forty seven perches along<br />

the road. Thence South Seventy Seven degrees west thirty eight perches and twenty links. Thence South thirty perches<br />

and six links thence South forty nine degrees east fifteen perches the whole forming two triangles and an[d] estimated<br />

to contain Two acres and Seventy eight hundredth of an acre be the Same more of less. To have and hold Said<br />

premises with the appurtenances with the Said Christian Strahm his heirs and assigns forever. And the Said Peter<br />

<strong>Luginbuhl</strong> and Mary <strong>Luginbuhl</strong> for themselves and heirs doth hereby convenant with the Said Christian Strahm his<br />

heirs and assigns that they are lawfully serzes[?] of this premises that the premises are free and clear from all<br />

incumbrances whatsoever and that they will forever warrant and defend the Same with the appurtenances unto the Said<br />

Christian Strahm his heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof we<br />

have herewith Set our hands and Seals this 18h day of December AD 1860.<br />
