Martha - 17 born KY
Frances - 16
Elizabeth - 14
Matilda - 12
Amanda - 8
William - 6
The age of Frances Elizabeth may be closer to the family records in Arkansas. However, we have her place of birth as
Kentucky.
07/15/2005 Information received from Linda Guynup Dewey, William "Pony" Reed and Dorothy "dolly" Donaldson
was the correct father and mother for Elizabeth. Linda also noted that her gg grandmother, Martha Jane Ried married
John Strahm (b Switzerland 1822/23). She also noted that the Strahms was living near William Reid in 1860 census in
Denton County, Texas. She found John Strahm was in an Arkansas unit in the Civil War -- and may have died near
that time. Her gg grandmother Martha went back to Missouri in 1862, remarried in 1863, remained in Missouri until
early 1880s, then moved west, following her daughter, Matilda Strahm Bryant to Washington State, where a large
group of Strahms had settled.
Washington County, Arkansas - 1920 County Census
List Elizabeth parents both to have been born in Kentucky. In 1920 her age was listed as 81 years.
She was living with her son Elbert White "Bert" Luginbuel and his wife, Daisy Kimbrough on the family farm (Bill
and Anna Venable).
