However, we have her place of birth as Kentucky. 07/15/2005 Information received from Linda Guynup Dewey, William "Pony" Reed and Dorothy "dolly" Donaldson was the correct father and mother for Elizabeth. Linda also noted that her gg grandmother, Martha Jane Ried married John Strahm (b Switzerland 1822/23). She also noted that the Strahms was living near William Reid in 1860 census in Denton County, Texas. She found John Strahm was in an Arkansas unit in the Civil War -- and may have died near that time.
