Despite the enormous odds against success for independent record companies, Eclipse Records has
consistently managed to deliver some of the best new talent in an oversaturated domestic market for
Modern Rock & Heavy Metal music. Due to the high volume of packages we receive, we can only respond
to the bands that we are interested in working with. The only way to get your band's material directly into
the hands of our A&R department is to send us a full demo package in the mail. Demo packages should
include a CD, picture of the band and the band's biography. In addition we would like to see press
clippings, reviews, past tour dates, video footage of live performance and anything else which you think
would show that your band is different from the thousands of other submissions we receive, and worth
taking the time to consider as an addition to the Eclipse family. Be sure to include all contact info for
band and management (if exists) so we can get in touch if we're interested. Also, write the name of the
band REALLY BIG somewhere on the outside of the envelope. Please do not call or e-mail us to ask us if
you can send a demo, just follow the guidelines above and if we are interested, we'll call you.
