We are opinionated writers with an equal passion for the stuff we like and hate. The meaning of We
Listen For You is not as pretentious as it sounds. It simply means that we act as a filter, listening to five
new albums a day and pass on to the reader what we like ... and what we don't. We strive to only use
streaming links and help bands/labels/record stores with responsible music embedding/hosting. We're
huge vinyl fans and if you would like to send us some wax we would be thrilled. Please no CDs! I just
toss them. You can also send a digital download to our e-mail address.
The Wild Honey Pie
http://www.thewildhoneypie.com
We’re a group of friends that blog about, film with, and put on concerts for our favorite bands. While we
cover a bunch of different music, we tend to focus mostly on indie of the Pop, Folk, Rock and Electronic
varieties. While each of us has a day job, we turn to The Wild Honey Pie as a way of sharing the music
that keeps us passionate. With every album review we also post a number rating. We use a 10 point
scale, 10 being the best, 0 being the worst. We aren’t about to review every album that’s released. We
simply write about new releases that we like/love, and those “high profile” releases that we want to share
our thoughts on.
