This show gives me the opportunity to play the music that I really love and that is under-represented even
on community radio: music that isn’t afraid to go off the deep end but still hang onto some elements of
melody, rhythm, and harmony, no matter how tenuously. I’ll focus on the intersection of a bunch of
genres: Space Rock, Psychedelia, Post-Rock, Ambient, Drone, Minimalism, Krautrock and whatever else
seems to fit. The main idea is to explore music that contains giant spaces, provokes meditative or other
intense states of awareness, thought and emotion, and does it without being slushy New Age pap.

The Show presents the new microcosm of free music production, once known as "independent" or
"alternative" music, expressions, that - now integrated into the "system" - have no more relation to their
original meaning ... music that is uniquely based on more than 70 years of recorded sound, whatever
direction ... from classic cassette scene releases of the 1980s to the hypermodern update studio
technology results. The emphasis is on long working musicians with a unique quality. The German
version is broadcasted via Radio Marabu Euro network. The English version is broadcasted via KWTF
Radio, a new community station in California, USA - plus both worldwide via internet. Before sending
