public – for noncommercial use (CC license). Our music is a modern blend of both organic and
Electronic styles like; Hip Hop, Electronica, Jazz, Experimental, Reggae, Rock and pretty much anything
Progressive and Alternative. Our site offers countless hours of free music that can be openly downloaded
and streamed via our website, radio network and podcasts.

Started by band nerds who wanted to create a way for indie musicians of all genres to have their music
heard. By giving indie artists the opportunity to share their work on their terms with music lovers
everywhere, MadeLoud seeks to redefine the music business by returning control of music to its rightful
owners: the musicians. MadeLoud was founded with a second goal in mind: bringing indie fans indie
music without filters. Rather than a roomful of record executives spoon feeding you the music they want
you to hear, MadeLoud fosters a comprehensive indie community where fans and artists can interact and
support one another directly, allowing musicians to be themselves. It's our mission to get out of the
musician's way and let them reach their fans directly.

We make most of our money by selling monthly memberships to consumers. Musicians get 50% of the
monthly fee, based on what each member listens and downloads. Every time someone listens to you, or
downloads your album, you get paid. As this is our main business, this is good money. By far the favorite
feature among our artists is our music licensing. We sell commercial use rights to our music catalog
online. We are one of Google's top hits for "music licensing" and have sold thousands of licenses.
