ToP The bright yellow scooter that bedecks Brown Sugar’s foyer is known to draw people’s attention<br />
and also gets many to pause at the entrance for a memorable picture. The back-lit acrylic and wooden<br />
Brown Sugar logo rests on a reclaimed pine wood wall besides the gate that unveils the al fresco<br />
area of the bistro. The surrounding area and pathway embraces greenery with open arms due the<br />
innumerable frangipani trees in graphite planters and tall bottom palms.<br />
Below To add to the Parisian look of the cafe, Brown Sugar houses a wooden pergola that<br />
accommodates three wooden lounges. The planters and lights add a sweet charm to the space.<br />
Although the cafe is discreet, it is still<br />
conspicuous due to the back-lit acrylic and<br />
wooden logo which beckons visitors just like<br />
moths to a flame. What catches your eye first<br />
is a vintage yellow scooter parked against the<br />
backdrop of a low pine rafter wooden wall.<br />
“This quirky piece now gets guests to pause<br />
for a memorable picture,” informs Akshit. The<br />
low wooden gate, beside the logo, unveils the<br />
al fresco area of the establishment. As you<br />
make your way through, the different outdoor<br />
seating arrangements will leave you baffled.<br />
Almost all of them are custom made and one<br />
or two are hand-picked from a local market.<br />
One seating for two on the left is made from<br />
recycled bicycle wheels that can still rotatable.<br />
Some others are wooden high bar style chairs<br />
and tables. There’s also bench-style seaters<br />
made from wrought iron and finished in old<br />
style patina paint with contrasting bright<br />
yellow cushioning.<br />
While inside, patrons don’t miss out on what’s<br />
happening outside thanks to a stained glass<br />
sectional door, which on a pleasant day folds<br />
up completely to merge the two sections. A<br />
