RE/MAX welcomes Jill Hobson as new Sales Associate<br />

It was an incredible season for the RE/MAX<br />

Cayman Islands Little League team. Having<br />

finished in the last position in the 2006/07<br />

season the girls and boys in this year’s team<br />

had a remarkable season. Out of 12 games<br />

they won 11 and one game was a tie.<br />

The team coached by RE/MAX Sales Associate<br />

Steve Parsons consisted of 20 girls and boys<br />

between 5 and 7 years old. “Most of these<br />

children never lifted a bat before let alone<br />

tried to hit a small ball across the field.” says<br />

Steve. It astonishes him how much progress<br />

each player makes during the 12 week long<br />

season. Asahni, son of RE/MAX Receptionist<br />

Stephanie Sommerville, is one of those first<br />

RE/MAX Cayman Islands Little League Team Triumphs<br />

League” Stephanie states “Steve and the<br />

other coaches taught him not only to play<br />

the game but also respect for others, team<br />

spirit and discipline.”<br />

Coach Steve has been coaching for 10 years<br />

now. He first got started when his daughter<br />

joined the league. His youngest son Landon<br />

(7) was part of the RE/MAX Little League<br />

team and is a very strong player. Next season<br />

Landon will progress into the Pony Division<br />

of Little League and Steve will move with<br />

him continuing to coach his team.<br />
