In 2008 the Caymanian Compass and RE/<br />

MAX Cayman Islands teamed up to create<br />

the RE/MAX Art Competition, for all students<br />

in the Cayman Islands.<br />

“The Caymanian Compass are glad to be a<br />

p<strong>art</strong> of the RE/MAX Art Competition again<br />

this year. After the great response last<br />

year, and the high quality of <strong>art</strong>work from<br />

the children, we felt that it was a good<br />

community competition to do again and are<br />

looking forward to seeing what the children<br />

produce this time.” says Anne Mason,<br />

Marketing Supervisor at Cayman Free Press.<br />

Entry forms can be picked up and dropped<br />

off at RE/MAX in 7 Mile Shops and Cayman<br />

Free Press on Shedden Road. The forms can<br />

be also downloaded from these websites:<br />

Like last year, there will be a different theme<br />

for each age group. The themes are:<br />

5-7 year olds – Pirates Week<br />

8-10 year olds – Recycling, Going Green!<br />

11-13 year olds – Our Sister Islands<br />

14-16 year olds – General Elections 2009<br />

Each drawing will have to include the RE/<br />

MAX balloon. The more creative the better.<br />

Some fantastic prizes are waiting for the<br />

winner, the first runner up and the second<br />

runner up in each age group.<br />

First Prize in each category will be a 16GB<br />

iPod Nano donated by The Audiophile<br />

and the Artwork will be displayed on the<br />

backcover ad in one of the next four editions<br />

of the Chamber magazine.<br />

The deadline for entries is the 24th of April<br />

2009. Please read the entry terms and<br />

conditions carefully as there are, for example,<br />

restriciton on the size of paper being used.<br />

The winners will be announced shortly after<br />
