MAP OVERLAYS ON
FUSION/MLXCHANGE MAPS?
ARE YOU USING THE
What? Where?
First of all—you DO NOT need to
use MLS Area numbers! You can
use the Microsoft BING Maps
that are integrated in both
MLXchange and FUSION.
On the Maps feature there is an overlay tool
that can guide you, rather than relying on the
antiquated area map tool.
IN MLXCHANGE there is a dashboard at the top of the
“Search Map” search tab that has an overlay option.
Once you click on this option, choices will appear that
show City, County, Neighborhood, Zip Code, and School
Location that can guide you to select the location you’d
like to search.
IN FUSION the overlays can be found on the right side of
the map. It is the fourth icon from the top (between the
binoculars and the eraser). Sample screenshots shown.
Once you have the overlay on your map, you may use the
drawing tools to draw up to fi ve shapes on the map.

GOODBYE MLXCHANGE & HELLO FUSION
Goodbye MLXchange and hello Fusion. CoreLogic
MarketLinx and The Greater Las Vegas Association of
REALTORS ® will be phasing out MLXchange at the
end of 2013. MLXchange was a ground breaking
system with many new functions when it was first
introduced in 2001. MLXchange served its purpose
and became a comfortable old friend. As time
marched on, so did technology. Agents wanted to use
different browsers and platforms like Safari, Firefox,
and Macs. Then, along came Android tablets and
iPads which are not compatible with MLXchange.
Hello, Fusion. Fusion is a browser-independent
interface that accesses the same MLS database and
works with popular web browsers and platforms.
