Do you want to be able to support people to connect with the right local services to help stay in, return to or find work? NHS Grampian offer free, face to face group training, which is tailored to your organisations needs and delivered locally, by an experienced Occupational Therapist. LOCAL EVENTS Mental Health Training Audit - Workshop 19th November 2015, 9:30 till 12pm Following on from the Mental Health Training Audit e-survey undertaken this summer, the Aberdeen City Mental Health Partnership would like to invite you to attend a follow up Mental Health Training Audit Workshop on 19 November 2015, from 9.30 am - 12 noon at the Fire Station at North Anderson Drive. The purpose of the event is to develop a more comprehensive picture by collecting information about the training your organisation delvers or that you are aware of currently taking place in Aberdeen city. This information will help to provide the Aberdeen City Mental Health Partnership with a strategic understanding of current activity across the city, including gaps and opportunities and will inform planning around future training requirements. As per the e-survey, the workshop will centre around the following four Mental Health and Wellbeing themes 1. Reducing suicide and self harm 2. Reducing mental ill health 3. Improving mental wellbeing 4. Increasing quality of life Please note that booking for this event is essential. The event will be held at Skene House Conference Suites, 96 Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, AB25 1NX on Tuesday 3rd November 2015 from 10:30am to 1:30pm. Refreshments will be available from 10:00am. At the event we will discuss: • the Commission’s role and powers; • what we have achieved so far, including progress on Scotland’s National Action Plan on Human Rights; • what the focus of the Commission’s future work should be.
