This course is for students who are employed in a job directly related to their<br />

major and who seek to learn new skills or improve existing skills at work<br />

under the instruction of a <strong>MiraCosta</strong> faculty-mentor. CSU<br />

COREQUISITE: Complete 75 hrs paid or 60 hrs non-paid work per unit.<br />

Enrollment Limitation: Career Center approval. May not enroll in any combination<br />

of cooperative work experience and/or internship studies concurrently.<br />

This course provides the administrative skills and knowledge needed to<br />

be successful in the twenty-first century workplace. Assignments include<br />

tasks using computer applications, office procedures, conflict resolution,<br />

time management, meeting and conference planning, office ethics, personal<br />

development and growth, and office protocol.<br />

and scheduling.<br />
