Enthusiasm for children’s entertainment has<br />
taken her on tour as Hansel in Hansel and Gretel<br />
and both Bianca and Princess Rosabella in the<br />
premiere of Angela and Her Sisters (Burry).<br />
She has also enjoyed portraying Dorabella in<br />
Così fan tutte, Dorothée in Cendrillon, Tessa<br />
in The Gondoliers, and Tolomeo in Giulio<br />
Cesare in Egitto.<br />
Bill Williams<br />
Lighting Designer<br />
Bill Williams is a well-known<br />
Canadian lighting designer<br />
with more than 40 years<br />
of experience and over<br />
600 production credits.<br />
He has worked for many<br />
leading opera, theatre, and dance companies<br />
across Canada, Europe, Asia, South America,<br />
the U.S., and the U.K.<br />
Mr. Williams is delighted to be returning for his<br />
31st Manitoba Opera production.<br />
When not designing for the stage, he is actively<br />
involved in the fields of theatre facility consulting,<br />
architectural lighting design, teaching, and<br />
photography. Bill Williams is also the author<br />
of Stage Lighting Design 101 and A History of<br />
Light and Lighting.<br />

An avid motorcyclist, this past summer’s highlight<br />
was riding around the Great Lakes, then across the<br />
Prairies to Banff, Alberta.<br />
