NUOVA), and Granny Hood in John Davies’ opera
Little Red’s Most Unusual Day (Three Little Birds
Productions).
Enthusiasm for children’s entertainment has
taken her on tour as Hansel in Hansel and Gretel
and both Bianca and Princess Rosabella in the
premiere of Angela and Her Sisters (Burry).
She has also enjoyed portraying Dorabella in
Così fan tutte, Dorothée in Cendrillon, Tessa
in The Gondoliers, and Tolomeo in Giulio
Cesare in Egitto.
Bill Williams
Lighting Designer
Bill Williams is a well-known
Canadian lighting designer
with more than 40 years
of experience and over
600 production credits.
He has worked for many
leading opera, theatre, and dance companies
across Canada, Europe, Asia, South America,
the U.S., and the U.K.
Mr. Williams is delighted to be returning for his
31st Manitoba Opera production.
When not designing for the stage, he is actively
involved in the fields of theatre facility consulting,
architectural lighting design, teaching, and
photography. Bill Williams is also the author
of Stage Lighting Design 101 and A History of
Light and Lighting.
Robert Pel
Stage Manager

The Musical in Moose Jaw. In the headlights are

Mr. Pel just wrapped up 20 years of teaching
Stage Management and Opera Production at
Ryerson University.
An avid motorcyclist, this past summer’s highlight
was riding around the Great Lakes, then across the
Prairies to Banff, Alberta.
Kathryn Ball
Assistant Stage Manager
Kathryn Ball is pleased to be
back with Manitoba Opera
for her 13th production.
