Blizzard hits Arvada area. Much damage to phone and power lines.<br />
The County Commissioners bought steel to build a new bridge over ditch<br />
near Ralston Church. The bridge will be straightened from its former angle<br />
and will be 26 feet, 8 inches by 30 feet, a single span and will cost $596.<br />
Monety is to come from Arvada's 3% gas tax.<br />
March 21<br />
Not so (re new bridge) says Commissioner James G. Biggins, Jr. All<br />
of Arvada's gas tax money went to correct the reverse curve on the paved<br />
road to Denver.<br />
