The <strong>Aborig<strong>in</strong>al</strong> Enhancement Schools Network (AESN)<br />

is part of <strong>the</strong> Network of Innovation <strong>and</strong> Inquiry (NOII,<br />

http://noii.ca/ ). AESN schools l<strong>in</strong>k <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>in</strong>quiry specifically<br />

to <strong>Aborig<strong>in</strong>al</strong> ways of know<strong>in</strong>g. The “Spiral of Inquiry”<br />

provides school teams with <strong>the</strong> structure for guid<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

improvement <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong>novation work. Participat<strong>in</strong>g schools<br />

develop a question to address through <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>in</strong>quiry,<br />

collaborate with colleagues through regional meet<strong>in</strong>gs, <strong>and</strong><br />

share case studies <strong>in</strong> a spirit of generosity <strong>and</strong> curiosity.<br />
