SAFE BOATING<br />

Purpose: Recommended for all boaters and required for individuals who are under the<br />

age of 21 and operate a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more, or for<br />

those individuals who are convicted of a criminal boating violation.<br />

Approved by the State of <strong>Florida</strong>.<br />

COURT ORDERED.<br />

Voluntary enrollment and completion also encouraged.<br />

Goal: To enable individuals to safely operate a vessel.<br />

� Boating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.<br />

� Emergency preparedness.<br />

� Boating requirements and laws.<br />
