Purpose:<br />

Kids in Divorce Situations (K.I.D.S.) provides a means of improving parental responsibility<br />

and relationship building between parents and their child(ren).<br />

Understanding emotions associated with divorce.<br />

Communicating with the other parent and child(ren) properly.<br />

Produce parents that embrace the importance of taking an active and rewarding role in the<br />

rearing of their child(ren).<br />

Understanding legal concepts associated with divorce and custody of children.<br />

Goal:<br />

Prepare parents for both the emotional and legal situations associated with divorce and<br />

child-rearing. Help parents sustain lasting and meaningful bonds with their child(ren).<br />

Create an environment for quality parent-to-parent communication.<br />
