The 701 Enduro Arrives in SA
We’ve been begging to ride these beasts since they arrived in SA at the
end of last year – but alas – officialdom decrees that homologation of
the bikes has taken twice as long as it should have, so they may not be
ridden. In the interim, we had a cover booked, so we looked to our friends
abroad for a feature from the world launch in Portugal which was rudely
interrupted by some torrential downpours – this is what they sent and
we’ll do a local ride as soon as the bikes become available…

This is where Husqvarna gathered a small group of moto-press to
unveil two new motorcycles in its growing lineup: The 2016 701
Supermoto and Enduro.
These bikes mark a logical direction for the supermoto pioneer
renowned for its off-road heritage. When the new Husqvarna
brand was born in 2013, the future began to look much brighter
for the legendary Swedish marque. Shortly after the change
of ownership, promises were made to improve product
quality and expand the model line. Those promises
are being kept. Expect the trend to
