Florida Key Clubbers,
This year has been life changing for myself,
and I hope you also found great growth so far.
Your Lieutenant Governors have worked tirelessly
to make this year the best, and they have been
doing a great job of just that. Having served on
three District Boards now, I know how true this is.
You all elected a special group of leaders last
spring, and I look forward to the class of leaders
you will bestow upon the board in the coming
months.
As we approach Lieutenant Governor elections
at Spring Zone Rallies, and push our efforts toward
District Conference, reflect on what your club has achieved so far this
year. Whether you will apply for awards or not, you have conquered new
territories for your clubs, and have climbed new mountains. Not one year is
the same, and make sure you can remember this one, and seal those
memories at DCON. Every year of my Key Club experience has been
marked with the excitement of gathering with upwards of 2,000 members
to celebrate our service and exceptional leadership within our clubs.
Last year, I was able to see what was beyond the Florida District and attend
International Convention in Indianapolis. This was an incredible experience,
and I hope you join us as we travel just only one state north, to Atlanta,
Georgia. Our convention tour is sure to spring up new friendships
and connect you across the globe to other service leaders. More info will
follow.
Lastly, reconsider our District goals. Has your club contributed what you
can to our goal of 300,000 service hours? Have you all held a Key Goes
Green project, helping us hit 30,000 Governor's Project hours? If not, the
year still holds substantial opportunity.
