South Roscommon V<strong>in</strong>tage New Season<br />

Chairman of <strong>the</strong> South Roscommon V<strong>in</strong>tage Club,<br />
Dermot Coyle thanked all members who helped<br />
out at <strong>the</strong> 2016 <strong>An</strong>nual Auto Jumble, which took<br />
place at <strong>the</strong> Taughmaconnell Community Centre <strong>in</strong><br />
late January.<br />
Aga<strong>in</strong> this year, <strong>the</strong> Auto Jumble saw traders from all<br />
over <strong>the</strong> country <strong>in</strong> attendance. Dermot went on to say<br />
that he is deeply thankful for <strong>the</strong> valuable help received<br />
<strong>in</strong> past years from <strong>the</strong> vast majority of members.<br />
“Our well supported Christmas D<strong>in</strong>ner Dance took place<br />
at Hayden’s Hotel with live music provided by Simon<br />
Casey and his band, which was a huge success for our<br />
club”, added John Roche, Club PRO.<br />
The club held many o<strong>the</strong>r successful events <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> past<br />
year <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> Michael Lyons Memorial Road Run,<br />
which ran from Roscommon Town to Strokestown,<br />
East Roscommon. Follow<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> event, a cheque was<br />
presented to Cancer Care <strong>We</strong>st for €2000 at Hamrocks<br />
Pub <strong>in</strong> Brideswell. The club also headed to Belfast for<br />
<strong>the</strong>ir two night <strong>An</strong>nual Out<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
