Juvenile Hurl<strong>in</strong>g Scoops Prestigous Award<br />

The 2015 season for <strong>the</strong> Juvenile<br />
Hurl<strong>in</strong>g teams <strong>in</strong>Ball<strong>in</strong>asloe was one<br />
it’s most successful to date. At <strong>the</strong><br />
recent annual review meet<strong>in</strong>g of Coiste<br />
Iomana na nOg <strong>the</strong> club was presented<br />
with <strong>the</strong> 2015 Juvenile Hurl<strong>in</strong>g Club<br />
of <strong>the</strong> Year award by Michael Hehir,<br />
Chairman Coiste Iomana na nOg, for<br />

<strong>the</strong> exemplary performances carried<br />
out by each of <strong>the</strong>ir underage teams.<br />
Nearly every one of <strong>the</strong>se teams, from Under<br />
11’s to Juniors represented <strong>the</strong> club and town<br />
<strong>in</strong> a f<strong>in</strong>al. The U-16 squad capta<strong>in</strong>ed by Daniel<br />
Potter won <strong>the</strong> county f<strong>in</strong>al and represented<br />
<strong>the</strong> club <strong>in</strong> a Connacht F<strong>in</strong>al while <strong>the</strong> U-21s<br />
under <strong>the</strong> leadership of Alan Coffey and<br />
Under 13s capta<strong>in</strong>ed by Phelim Reilly also won<br />
county f<strong>in</strong>als.<br />
