’00 Virginia Rose Bernard Maggorie is a
graduate of The Savannah College of Art and
Design with a master’s in architecture. She
is an AIA Architect who has worked both
domestically and internationally for Coach and
John Burch. Virginia is presently a retail architect
for Guess, designing commercial outlets in the
United States and abroad. She lives in Manhattan
Beach, California, where she and her husband
are expecting their first child in February.
’03 Lauren Brown Sanders, MD
has recently returned to Baton
Rouge to join The Women’s Clinic
after completing her internship
and residency in obstetrics and
gynecology at the University of
Alabama-Birmingham last year.
’05 Stephanie
Gremillion
Babin, DDS
has opened
a family dental practice in
Baton Rouge along with her
husband, Randy Babin Jr.,
DDS, a 2005 graduate of
Catholic High School. Babin
Dental is located at 10631
Hillary Court in Baton Rouge.
’06 Helen Moser received a master’s in
international development in May from
Georgetown University’s School of Foreign
Service. She is working as a research fellow at the
Center for Strategic and International Studies
in Washington, D.C. She has also worked at the
Asian University for Women in Bangladesh and
in the non-profit and public sectors in Sri Lanka,
the Federated States of Micronesia,
Scotland and Taiwan. Helen is a Phi
Beta Kappa graduate of the University of
Southern California.
’08 Hana Layne Hart is the lead singer
for The Anteeks, a singer with Joey and
the Jumper Cables and is the female
half of the duo Bonnie and Clyde. She completed
her studies for audio engineering at Media Tech
Institute in Dallas in 2008. She worked as a Foley
artist for Building Studios on several movies and
has done studio and soundtrack work as a singer.
She has also performed background vocals on
two albums with Jason Martin. Hana performs
most weekends at music venues in Baton Rouge
and tours the Southern circuit, performing from
Lake Charles, Louisiana to Biloxi, Mississippi.
’08 Nikki-Dean Ragusa has been named public
relations director for Louisiana Associated
General Contractors. She graduated from
Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree
in mass communication and interned for a
semester at City Social Magazine.
’08 Ashley White has joined the
newly formed Corporate Strategy
Group at AECOM, the largest
engineering design firm in the
United States, in the greater Los
Angeles area. As part of her new
role, she is helping to direct the
company’s strategic priorities,
conducting competitor intelligence
and establishing operational
improvements. Prior to joining
AECOM, Ashley was a senior
analyst at Seale & Associates,
where she participated in all
aspects of divestitures, mergers, acquisitions,
recapitalizations, valuations and strategic
alternatives assessments. She started her career as
a strategy and operations consultant at Deloitte
Consulting, working with civilian and military
clients to drive performance management, data
analytics and enterprise strategy development
efforts. Ashley graduated magna cum
laude from Howard University with a
BBA in finance. While at Howard, she
served as the financial advisor for the
Howard University Student Association
and completed summer internships with
Goldman Sachs and UBS Investment Bank.
