Variety of Illinois Sam & Santa Toy Drive<br />

For this annual event, Variety of Illinois partners with Studio<br />

Movie Grill Chatham and Wheaton. More than 1,000 toys were<br />

collected by Sam Love, an 11-year-old Chicago resident who takes a<br />

special interest in helping children less fortunate than himself.<br />

Variety of Iowa Black Tie Gala<br />

“A Night in New Orleans” kicked off with two specialized bike<br />

presentations. During dinner, special guest Jamie Pollard, Iowa State<br />

University athletic director, spoke, and a very special surprise guest,<br />

his 13-year-old son, James, also spoke about his fight against cancer.<br />

Guests paraded New Orleans style to the dessert buffet featuring<br />

beignets and bananas Foster. Dancing to band Final Mix rounded<br />
