tah-lee-TOT; the traditional Sephardi plural of tallét is talletot, pronounced tahleh-TOT,
Most tallitot have a neckband also, called an Atarah, which has the blessing one
recites when donning the tallit, embroidered across it . It reads:
Blessed are You, Lord, our God, King of the Universe, Who has sanctified us with
His commandments, and commanded us regarding the commandment of fringes
