Richa Chadda is sure a sensation in Indian
cinema as the actress wanted to essay
quite innovative and challenging roles
that elevate her presence as an actress.
She received some of the finest accolades
in her career and she is currently busy
with many films lined up.

Chadda was born on 18th December
1986 to a Punjabi Hindu father and
a Bihari mother. Her father owns a
management firm and her mother
is a professor at PGDAV College of
Delhi University, who has authored
two books and also works with
Gandhi Smriti. Chadda was brought
up in Delhi, India. After completing
her schooling from Sardar Patel
Vidyalaya in 2002, she took a
Diploma in Social Communication
Media from Sophia College, Mumbai.
After debuting with a bit role in the
comedy film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!
(2008), she worked as a supporting
actress in several forgettable
films and became known more for
espousing feminist and modernist
positions, especially with regard to
