Coming back to his films, RGV is well known
for bringing the biopics onto the screens. Most
of his films based on biopics like Raktha
Charitra, Killing Veerappan etc, have witnessed
success at the box office.
The way that film was
screened, made him get
identified well, in the horror
genre, and that identity was
still continuing till date. When
asked about the reason
behind his interest in the
horror films, RGV says that,
he likes threatening people
and enjoys watching them
worrying of something.
That sounds the quirky nature
of RGV, which has actually
made him favorite to the
people of his mindset. While
one side of the audience,
treat him as a mentally
retarded filmmaker, several
others treat him as someone,
who do not mind to speak
heart-out, with the least
concern of the consequences.

the fans of the both super
stars declared war on the
director.
King of biopics
Coming back to his films,
RGV is well known for

too
But he is even the director,
who probably faced the
highest number of disasters.
But the fear of failure never
put his foot back, and moved
forward experimenting on
several story lines.
Layed new paths in film
making
He has a record of completing
a film in 5 days with the least
budget (Dongala Mutha) and
it is he, who used flow cam
technology for ice cream
movie, which boosted new
thoughts to the small film
makers and this is even
appreciated by the producers,
as the cost of making the film,
would drastically go down.
Veerappan and Rai
would make him
bounce back bigger
After Killing Veerappan,
which only dealt with the
police sketching to kill the
criminal, RGV is now dealing
with the life story of him, titling
the film as Veerappan. The
recently released trailer was
appreciated nationwide, and
so the film has acquired good
craze and hype, even before
the release.
Not just Veerappan, RGV
is even making the biopic
of Muthappa Rai, former
gangster, titling the film as
‘Rai’.
As both are biopics in which
RGV is the master in dealing,
these projects are expected
to set the stature of the
controversial king in a new
level and let us hope it turns
true, by exposing an Indian
film maker talent worldwide.
