TARRYEYED
The actor was born on
August 20th 1976 in a Jat
family in Rohtak, Haryana.
He has been brilliant in his
studies and he completed
post graduation in Human
Resource Management from
Melbourne, Australia. After
returning to India, he tried
his luck as a model and he
then turned an actor. He
made his debut in Bollywood
with the movie Monsoon
Wedding in 2001 and he
received good response for
his performance. It took four
years to make his comeback
as he fell short of offers. It
was Ram Gopal Varma who
gave him a crucial role in D.
Randeep Hooda preferred
doing realistic movies and
most of them failed to mint
money at the box-office.
The actor had to wait
too much to get enough
recognition and he tasted
his first success with Once
Upon A Time in Mumbai
in 2010 and he received
stupendous response for his
performance in Saheb Biwi
Aur Gangster that released
in 2011. His films failed to
make decent commercial
figures but Randeep Hooda
showed intense growth with
his performance that made a
huge impact on the audience.
He garnered further critical
acclaim for his role in Imtiaz
Ali's drama Highway (2014).
Other notable films include
Jism 2 (2012), Murder 3
(2013), Kick (2014), and
Rang Rasiya (2014).
In addition to his film
career, Hooda has acted
in numerous stage plays,
and made his debut as a
playwright with an adaptation
of Lee Blessing's A Walk
in the Woods. He is an
equestrian and regularly
participates professionally
in equestrian sports such
as polo, show jumping and
