St. Lucia under 23 Men’s Volleyball
team captures ECVA Title

St Lucia are the champions
of the East Caribbean
Volleyball Association
(ECVA) Men’s under 23 title
by beating Antigua & Barbuda
in a grueling five setter
finals on Sunday night at the
Volleyball complex.
The St. Lucians playing
against the home team and
host with cheering at all
times and flags waving all
the time and under relenting
pressure came out victorious
full of confidence to win 26-
28, 29-27, 17-22 and 15-13.
The title was up for grabs
as both teams played their
best games against each
other on that night and each
player on both sides were

St. Lucia was voted the MVP
of the tournament, Jamaire
James of Antigua & Barbuda
was voted the best scorer
and best outside hitter, and
Ferdinand Anfernee of St.
Lucia was voted best outside
hitter. Shaquille Rombley
of St. Maarten and Tevin St
Jean of St. Lucia was voted
best blockers,
