Clothing store, beauty brand<br />
unite at Lumber Yard pop-up<br />

An online clothing store<br />
and a beauty brand joined<br />
forces at the Malibu Lumber<br />
Yard and together invited<br />
Malibu residents to<br />
a pop-up launch event on<br />
July 7.<br />
Bailey44, a brand of<br />
women’s clothing, and<br />
Blushington, a makeup<br />
service, hosted a pop-up<br />
shopping and makeup experience<br />
at the Lumber<br />
Yard event. Shoppers had<br />
the opportunity to receive<br />
Blushington’s services and<br />
shop Bailey44’s racks.<br />
During the reception at<br />
the grand opening, cocktails<br />
by Lybations were<br />
offered to the customers.<br />
Other brands were on hand,<br />
including Studio La Fleur,<br />
which offers florals and<br />
event design.<br />
The pop-up came to the<br />
Malibu Lumber Yard on<br />
July 1 and will continue<br />
through Labor Day.<br />
The event featured 10<br />
percent off all purchases.<br />
In addition, 20 percent of<br />
sales went to benefit the organization<br />
Mending Kids.<br />
