UNDERSTANDING INDUSTRY JARGON NCR Database “Your name will be added to the NCR Database”. The National Credit Regulator have a computer program which notifies the various credit bureaus when a person applies for debt review. This helps the credit bureaus update their records to show the consumer is considering debt review. The system should also inform the credit bureaus when the debt review is over and to remove this information. The NCR’s system is called NCRDebtHelp and can only be used by Debt Counsellors.
