Newcastle College’s Performance Academy is the UK’s
largest further and higher education specialist centre
for music, performing arts and media.
The £21 million development is the first of its kind
in the UK and provides a new state-of-the-art facility
for more than 1,000 full time students of music,
acting, dance, musical theatre, technical production,
television, radio, entertainment management and
media.
The unique, creative hub provides students with
professional-level working environments that are
unmatched in the UK, including 3 performance venues,
10 recording studios, a TV studio, a radio station and
acting, music, dance, recording and media
production facilities.
