28TH –29TH SEPTEMBER 2016 Northern Manufacturing & Electronics returns to Manchester Northern Manufacturing & Electronics, the North's number one machinery and engineering technology exhibition, returns to EventCity, Manchester on September 28th to 29th. Last year's exhibition attracted nearly 3,000 engineering professionals from across the region. Two ground breaking angle measurement systems and a new control design that is claimed to be revolutionary in its ease of use and efficiency. Visitors to the Amada stand will find the multi-award winning Ensis AJ fibre laser cutter. The fibre laser machine adjusts to a wide range of thin and thick materials. It has the ability to process materials commonly associated with a 4kW machine with both the speed and quality using only a 2kW oscillator, saving energy, time and costs. Alongside the big names are a supporting cast of hundreds, offering a vast selection of tooling, production aids, components, consumables and industrial fixtures and fittings. Quickgrind returns to Northern Manufacturing with its vast range of solid carbide cutting tools, together with its distributor for the North and Scotland, Alliance Tools. In addition to providing the versatility that would accommodate our diverse requirements, the Prima Power machine delivered high-quality results, and thanks to features such as its quick set-up times, was extremely productive. It also helped our decision that Prima Power enjoy an excellent reputation in the market place and that the machine was also very cost effective. “Following a trouble free installation and after our operator training sessions, our new laser cutting machine is now fully operational. In addition to appreciating the machine’s hardware, our staff have found the Prima Power software very intuitive and easy to use.
