SATISFACTION GUARANTEE<br />
You can now receive a FULL refund or free transfer before <strong>the</strong><br />
second class meets. This guarantee includes one-meeting workshops.<br />
To request a refund, complete a "CLL Refund & Transfer Form" <strong>at</strong> <strong>the</strong> Schott or Wake Campus main office. You<br />
can also find and submit <strong>the</strong> form online <strong>at</strong> www.<strong>the</strong>CLL.org.<br />
Note:<br />
• One-meeting workshops: Refund or transfer request must be received within seven days after class meets.<br />
• M<strong>at</strong>erials fee refund: restrictions may apply.<br />
• Transferring to a more expensive class: The student pays <strong>the</strong> difference.<br />
• Day trips and performances: See class notices <strong>at</strong> www.<strong>the</strong>CLL.org for refund inform<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
IMPORTANT INFORMATION & POLICIES<br />
CLASS FEES<br />
Class fees include:<br />
• TUITION FEES — Average: $6.50 per hour; <strong>the</strong><br />
hourly r<strong>at</strong>e for workshops and specialized classes<br />
may vary.<br />
• MATERIALS FEES — Cover items used in class or<br />
taken home by students, e.g. handouts, food for<br />
cooking, clay for ceramics.<br />
• LAB FEES — Cover specialized supplies, utilities,<br />
and personnel costs.<br />
• BUILDING FEES — Cover off-campus rental fees.<br />
Any class fees are noted in <strong>the</strong> class descriptions<br />
in this schedule and online. For online registr<strong>at</strong>ion,<br />
fees are payable by credit/debit card only (VISA and<br />
MasterCard). If paying by personal check*, money<br />
order or cash, payment must be made in person <strong>at</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Inform<strong>at</strong>ion and Registr<strong>at</strong>ion office <strong>at</strong> ei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong><br />
Schott Campus or <strong>the</strong> Wake Campus. (*There is a $20<br />
service charge for each returned check.)<br />
CANCELLATION<br />
The minimum enrollment for CLL classes is five<br />
students, with <strong>the</strong> exception of classes with lab fees.<br />
However, if a class does not meet <strong>the</strong> enrollment<br />
anticip<strong>at</strong>ed by <strong>the</strong> instructor, he or she may cancel <strong>the</strong><br />
class <strong>at</strong> his/her own discretion. In <strong>the</strong> event <strong>the</strong> class<br />
is cancelled by <strong>the</strong> college, <strong>the</strong> student will receive<br />
a full refund or will be able to apply <strong>the</strong> class fee<br />
towards ano<strong>the</strong>r class.<br />
ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DISABILITY<br />
SBCC students with disabilities who are requesting<br />
accommod<strong>at</strong>ions for classes, college activities or tests<br />
should use <strong>the</strong> following SBCC procedure: (1) Contact<br />
Disabled Student Programs and Services (DSPS); (2)<br />
Submit document<strong>at</strong>ion of your disability to <strong>the</strong> DSPS<br />
office; (3) Communic<strong>at</strong>e with a DSPS counselor<br />
regarding options for services and accommod<strong>at</strong>ions;<br />
(4) Reach written accommod<strong>at</strong>ion agreement with<br />
<strong>the</strong> DSPS counselor and your instructor. (NOTE: This<br />
procedure also includes student requests to bring into<br />
classes personal service <strong>at</strong>tendants who are not SBCC<br />

SBCC requests you complete this process <strong>at</strong> least ten<br />
working days before your accommod<strong>at</strong>ion is needed,<br />
in order to allow DSPS staff time to provide your<br />

right to cancel classes, change times or loc<strong>at</strong>ions,<br />
and change instructors when necessary. Fees are<br />
