Finishing is an art in itself. Sometimes all one needs to do to ‘Finish’<br />
a painting is receive a bit of critique and guidance as to how to<br />
apply specific techniques. Working on newer and older paintings,<br />

past and contemporary masters in order to bring about certain<br />
desired affects. Glazing, scraping, sanding, and toning are examples<br />
we will utilize to bring about more realized expressions on canvas.<br />

about process, historical content, while experimenting to finish<br />

➜ Landscape Oil Painting From Photos<br />
Good photographs are just <strong>the</strong> jumping off point for cre<strong>at</strong>ing<br />
gre<strong>at</strong> landscape paintings. Paint with more dynamic colors by<br />
applying one of <strong>the</strong> three gre<strong>at</strong> color schemes. This course includes<br />
instruction and demonstr<strong>at</strong>ion of cre<strong>at</strong>ing an oil painting from a<br />
photo from start to finish. You will analyze your photo through<br />
drawing, color mixing and completion. You <strong>the</strong>n will cre<strong>at</strong>e<br />
paintings from your own photos, with individual hands on help and<br />
critique from <strong>the</strong> instructor. One class meeting will be a field trip to<br />
take photographs and learn to compose with your camera.<br />
