#26 Teachers can collect info that can be manipulated later in the doc/spreadsheet I have trained all the teachers at school to develop and maintain their own websites, and they love to include and use Google forms. They use them for example for collecting: ● students info: email, address, phone number ● parents info: email, address, phone number ● volunteers ● students express interest on different topics (multiple choice) so they can be grouped by their first or second choice in a project/class activity ● self study sign in/out times with students ● tutorials sign up Hope you find these useful..:-)
#27 Cutting to the chase when doing databases Whenever I've taught databases in key stage 3 students always get bogged down in adding enough data to do anything with. Set up a Google Form and each member of the class adds a couple of records for homework. Grab all the data (edit if necessary!) and put it on a shared drive for them to import into their databases and they're away doing the interesting stuff! @davestacey
