Girls and Women<br />
Girls and women count and must be counted. When national data are not<br />
disaggregated, it masks differences among various groups, making it<br />
challenging to identify the needs of marginalized populations, including girls<br />
and women. Yet when governments are armed with this information, national<br />
authorities and development actors can make informed decisions about<br />
policies and programs and monitor their implementation.<br />
