The oil outlet pipe is designed to be assembled in the top section of the unit because it being<br />

lighter rises to the water surface. The water pressure below the oil layer pushes it to the top<br />

which in turn discharges it. To enhance the collection of and easily flow of oil/grease the top<br />

cover plate is taper toward upside.<br />

The final step of the design process it to provide the unit with suitable sludge flush system<br />

which can be easily operated and effective. This also should provide enough space to clean<br />

and wash through the silt trap for stubborn patches of sediment which form lumps during<br />

long periods of inactivity.<br />
