What does this award mean to you and
your company?
Myra-Bella Prins (MBP): We are very proud,
and it goes without saying that it is a great
honor our efforts are being recognized
by Microsoft. It is a clear recognition of
our efforts to always stay one step ahead
of developments within the Microsoft
Dynamics AX space. It’s also a strong indicator for all
Microsoft Dynamics AX users and Partners that we are a safe
option to get more value out of their Microsoft Dynamics AX
investments.
TPC: How do you help users and Partners get more value out
of Microsoft Dynamics AX?
MBP: Our solutions are built on top of Microsoft Dynamics AX
and stay as close to the Microsoft Dynamics AX standards as
possible, ensuring smooth and easy upgradeability. We strive to
release products closely to Microsoft’s most recent release, and
they fit perfectly. Just like our company logo, the small circle cut
out of the large one is us, and we fit seamlessly and perfectly
into the whole, Microsoft Dynamics AX being the large circle
in this case.
Because our solutions fit so perfectly, it’s easier for users to
learn and use them. It looks and feels like Microsoft Dynamics
AX so much that you don’t even know you’re using AXtension.

TPC: What are the most popular products
and why?
MBP: With regards to popularity, there are two
solutions that tie for first place: AXtension®
Invoice Processing and AXtension® Visual Planning.
Why AXtension® Invoice Processing? Because commercial
organizations, independent of industry or product type, all
need to set up some kind of accounts payable process. Be it
within the company, throughout different corporations, or even
across geographical borders. This means that there are many
organizations out there that are dealing with different accounts
payable challenges. This is especially true when organizations
grow and resources remain the same. It becomes extremely
important to organize this process in a more efficient way.
Microsoft Dynamics AX offers great functionality for this, but
sometimes it is not enough. That is where AXtension can help.
