Pastor Edward Lampkin Jr.
Pastor Lampkin was my
pastor for nine (9) years.
I thought it was outstanding
that he was assigned to
pastor two (2) churches at
the same time, twice:
1) Mt. Calvary, Hamilton &
Mt. Calvary, Springfield
2)Antioch & Mt. Calvary,
Hamilton.
He was assigned to pastor
Mt. Calvary, Springfield
twice (not consecutive
years) and he was assigned
to pastor Mt. Calvary,
Hamilton twice.
He did good work at each
church. Renovations were
always part of his vision.
He works well with his hands.
He was responsible for the
remodel of Hamilton and he
built a handicap ramp for
Antioch.

I always admired how
Brother Eddie took care of his
family.
I remember once, no, twice,
Sister Sadie over spent using
her credit cards. She said,
"Edward will not like this, but
I got to tell him." The next
time we talked about it, she
said, "Venell, Edward took
care of all of it."
He is a good steward over
what the Lord blesses him
with.
Brother Eddie is a hard
worker in his professional life
and at church.
He didn't mind giving God
praise. We loved to watch him
dance before the Lord.

Pastor Sadie Lampkin taught
me how to sing with all you
have for God; to praise Him
while you can. She also said,
"I t is not what you go through,
but how God brings you out!"
Shirley Wilson Staples
Sister Sadie Lampkin is the
definition of a true praiser.
She taught me to not quit in
the midst of adversity.
LaVonne Reynolds
Pastor Sadie Lampkin taught
me the importance of praise
and worship.
Many times she would tell me
to lead the Devotion. They
didn't ask you like we do in
our local churches, begging
Saints to lead the service. I
learned it is a privilege to
usher in the spirit of praise;
it?s j ust you in the presence
of The Lord.
I thought she was so hard on
me, because she wouldn't j ust
let me be a bench warmer.
A question she asked me, that
I will never forget, "Why are
you always in the back seat
when God is moving you
forward?"
I told her I 'm doing OK. Her
response was prophetic.
