Solution Focussed Therapy<br />
A direct intervention for adults, children and young people using a solution<br />
focussed methodology. Focussing on what works, identifying strengths<br />
and exploring exceptions to difficult situations are key principles. Building<br />
in practical steps that can be taken towards meeting outcomes is achieved<br />
through a supportive and empowering conversation. The intervention can<br />
occasionally consist of a single session, but is more likely to last two or three<br />
sessions.<br />
